Pad-Style Snow Guards
Adhesive-mounted guards for eligible metal roofs and structurally fastened screw-down guards for compatible exposed-fastener panels.
View supported attachment methodsPlan snow retention systems for metal roofs using SnoBlox-Snojax product-specific guidelines. Choose pad-style snow guards, SnoBar and ColorBar snow rails, or SnoCleat systems, then follow the appropriate layout process for your roof.
Select your roof and snow retention system to begin. The redesigned tool will support adhesive-mounted and screw-down pad-style guards, standing seam and mechanically fastened rail systems, and specialized SnoCleat models. Each system will use its own verified calculation and attachment rules.
No competitor photography is used. Product diagrams and photographs will be added only after verification against the two approved websites.

Other system families are listed for the complete redesign but are not yet activated; we will integrate and verify them against the validated SnoBlox-Snojax calculation logic before use.
Select SnoBar or ColorBar for this working preliminary estimator. Additional systems will be activated after their calculation rules have been validated.
Enter horizontal eave length and measured roof run (ridge to eave) for each roof area. Add up to eight areas.
Adhesive-mounted and screw-down pad-style snow guard calculations will be separate paths with their own panel compatibility, row spacing, and fastening requirements. Ground snow loads above 40 PSF will stop pad-style calculations and refer users to a properly reviewed SnoBar or ColorBar layout.
Clamp-on SnoCleat RC/RCT for compatible standing seam panels, SnoCleat PBR for compatible exposed-fastener profiles, and SnoCleat 2.67 only for 2.67 corrugated panels. The appropriate validated screw-down and seam-mounted methods will be integrated here.
The first rail row is shown approximately 12 inches above the eave. If an unsupported roof overhang exists, position the first row above the exterior structural wall instead. Additional rows are distributed evenly up the roof, using the applicable spacing maximum. Protect upper roof areas before lower roofs; do not isolate rails only above doorways, walkways, vents, or other limited areas.
Kit quantities assume standard 6-foot rail kits and round each row upward independently. Actual component quantities, clamp compatibility, field cuts, IceStoppers, splices, end caps, and attachment details must be checked before ordering.
